The Library has operated in many different premises over the years. However, in 2006 the Library found a new, permanent home at the Dubai Community Theatre and Art Center (DUCTAC) in the Mall of the Emirates on Sheikh Zayed Road. DUCTAC provides state of the art facilities for a dynamic range of theater, art and library activities which are provided for the wider Dubai community. DUCTAC is sponsored by a large number of Dubai and UAE organisations which contributed to the cost of building the facilities, and to ongoing operations. The Library section of the building was kindly sponsored by Dubai Duty Free. |

The Committee of Management is responsible for setting down the Rules and Regulations which, where appropriate are ratified at an Annual General Meeting. Any adult Member of the library may stand for election to the Committee of Management at the Annual General Meeting. |

The Library also gratefully accepts donations of second hand books. Books in 'as new' condition are used to supplement the book collection and others are sold as secondhand books to raise money for the purchase of new books. New books are purchased monthly for both the children's and adult sections of the Library. |
